Use these June journal prompts to cultivate love, respect, and appreciation for your body.

Are body image issues holding you back from having fun this summer?
It certainly did for me.
I used to get anxious during the hot weather months.
The thought of wearing bathing suits, shorts, and tank tops – No, thank you. My body’s not ready for it.
The younger me would hide my arms in long sleeves, say no to ice cream, and skip summer outings simply because I didn’t feel good enough to show up as me.
How ridiculous was that?!
Thankfully, I am no longer that insecure girl, and I can now enjoy the hot season without worries.
As summer approaches, let’s not let our body insecurities stop us from enjoying life.
For these June journal prompts, I want to dedicate the focus on body image to encourage you to understand why you feel the way you do about your body and appearance. These questions can help uncover the root cause of your current beliefs, challenge the negative self-talk you have about yourself, and promote healing, self-love, and acceptance.
Ultimately, I hope these journal prompts can offer you safety, comfort, and confidence in how you look, think, and feel about yourself.
